Legendary bands Steel Pulse and Lettuce are coming together for a monumental summer tour from June 15th through July 8th, each playing full sets supported by professional big wave surfer-turned musician Makua Rothman. The tour will include 14 shows starting in Miami Beach, Florida and ending in Huber Heights, Ohio.
The tour is a unique opportunity for fans of these sonically very different bands to get a taste of something at the opposite end of the spectrum. Steel Pulse hopes their fans understand that, “it’s all to do with embracement and aspirations of gaining new audiences to sustain the Steel Legacy.” Regarding what people should take away from the music, Lettuce said they, “think the music will appeal to both bands’ fans respectively and in their own unique way. “ The unifying theme is one of curiosity and enlightenment.
The idea for the tour came from Steel Pulse’s management, Regime, though Lettuce adds that they’ve thought about it for a long time. As Lettuce puts it, “The contrast between their music and ours is perfect.” When asked about possible onstage collaboration, both bands hinted that it was a possibility. Either way, concert-goers are in for a treat with this once-in-a-lifetime tour.
