Work Hard Play Hard: Saturday Morning Beach Cleanup

RSVP for the Beach Cleanup.

Tents and tables are popping up, food and beverages are flowing in, the sound system is primed and ready. The hustle and bustle that accompanies the numerous facilities involved in putting on a weekend of music are in full effect at Riverfront Park in Cocoa, FL as the second annual Rootfire At The Park blossoms into existence.

At the heart of all that is happening is a deep rooted sense of community. Venders joke and smile as they make their 10X10 spaces their own, old friends and new come together to do what they do: help craft the carefully nurtured festival experience affiliated with Rootfire.

Attending a music festival it’s easy to experience without taking a step back to consider the amount of infrastructure that goes into making something special a reality. Even the smallest events take a staggering amount of vision, leadership, and teamwork, not to mention staggering amounts of work. But it’s the work that in the end brings the ultimate pay off as you step back and see what has been accomplished. People have come together, shedded sweat, and created.

Ready to go to work? Rootfire has teamed up with our friends at Endless Summer Radio for a Saturday morning beach cleanup at Cocoa Beach. Meet in the parking lot at 210 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 (right across from the beach access) at 8AM to start your festival day with a sense of accomplishment. Participants are also entered in a contest to win two Rootfire At The Park VIP tickets for Sunday, Nov 12. RSVP here.

Connect with nature, get your blood flowing, make new friends. It’s easy to have an average day, but with a little extra effort average is turned into greatness. See you at the beach!
