Selah Sue was recently in the US for 3 weeks including stops in DC, NY, and Boston as well as UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival- where she was billed with Rebelution. The dates focused around promoting her self titled album which comes out in N. America on August 21 (Colombia records).
Selah Sue’s self-titled album debuted in the top 10 charts in Belgium, France and the Netherlands and, to date, the success of those releases has garnered her multiple platinum certifications. The U.S. version of the album will include three exclusive, never-before-heard songs: “On the Run,” “Break,” and “Fade Away.” Selah Sue features rap superstar J.Cole on a remix of “Raggamuffin” [*Featured below] as well as Cee-Lo Green on the duet “Please.” Selah Sue also partnered with producer Jerry Wonda, longtime collaborator of Wyclef Jean and producer of Fugees’ classic The Score, on “Fade Away” and co-wrote the emotional ballad “Mommy” with Meshell Ndegeocello.
