Rootfire at One Love Cali Reggae Fest 2018

When most people think music festival, they think summer time. The thing I love about One Love Cali Reggae Fest is getting that dose of music fest love in February. That and the monstrous lineup that One Love has consistently brought, now three years running. With 2018’s event coming up Feb 10-11, the Rootfire crew is getting ready to come join the festivities, with boxes of t-shirts, hats, hoodies and everything else in tow.

Setting up shop for the weekend at festivals across the country is more than just a good time for the us at Rootfire. This is our opportunity to connect with the artists, managers, production crews and most importantly fans that make this American reggae scene of ours tick. It’s also an opportunity for us to get the word out about what’s happening with us – like the Rootfire Cooperative, our record label which provides zero-interest loans for bands to record, distribute and market their albums. Rootfire will also be hosting a handful of artist meet-and-greets throughout the weekend: Stay tuned for more updates on this, including a full schedule, so you can be sure to meet some of your favorite artists at the Rootfire booth.

So for all of you awesome, amazing beautiful people out there making it out to One Love in a couple weeks, make sure to stop off and say hello to us at the Rootfire booth. Get a free sticker, pick up a hoodie before the sun goes down or just come and connect with us. After all, at the root of it, we are all just people riding this crazy thing called life together. Doesn’t it make sense to take a minute and get to know each other on the way?

Don’t have your One Love 2018 tickets yet? Pick them up here.
