“We’re trying to get weird with the record”

A few months ago Joshua shared some insight about his goals recording The Movement‘s new album, as well as his personal ambitions about trying to be present in life. This is what he had to say:

GOLDEN drops April 8 on Rootfire Cooperative. It’s the Cooperative’s first release, to be followed by two more albums later this summer. For a limited time we are sending everyone who buys the CD a second copy free. The purpose is to share and connect more people with the music, so we hope the extra copy gives you an opportunity to pass it on to a friend.

Check out some brand new merch, including some killer Kc originals (if you know, you know)!

mvmt merchThe Movement hits the road this weekend on their Golden Hearts Tour. We have the hookup on the guest list doc from the band… its a google spreadsheet and I can still get in there and drop a name or two per show without any red flags going up.

If you want tickets just send me an email and I will try to take care of you. Be sure to let me know which show you would like to attend. If you don’t live near where the band is playing, but your friend does… maybe we can hook them up. Just send an email and we can go from there: [email protected]

Tour dates below. Album pre-order here. It feels rewarding to support the music you love, so do what you can and spread the word.

Seth founded Rootfire while he was managing a group of influential modern reggae acts, including The Green, John Brown’s Body, and Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. The goal of the project has always been to connect the people who participate in the modern reggae movement.
