First Watch: Kash’d Out – I’m Gone

The new video for Kash’d Out’s “I’m Gone” takes the viewer into the day-to-day adventures of tour life. Live footage is met by scenes from the road, depicting the free spirited attitude of a young band living life to the fullest, one day at a time. Hooky lyrical melody is backed by the kind of solid, unmistakable sounding instrumentation of a band hailing from a reggae hotspot like Orlando, FL. The song is about the girl who let the guy get away, but within the lyrics lie undertones of self-assertion and a strong desire for the freedom to live in the moment.

“I’m Gone” is from Kash’d Out’s freshman full-length album The Hookup, released earlier this year on LAW Records. The band has received considerable recognition and exposure: 2017 has already seen them on tour supporting Pepper and Less Than Jake, as well as solidifying a spot at the iconic California Roots Festival in Monterey. Memorable melodies, solid musicianship, and a true party attitude are sure to leave fans humming the tunes, stoked for the next show.
