It’s tough and you gotta learn to be tough to make it.” DENM’s latest single, “Blow It Up,” takes us to the seedier side of SoCal in a cool-rolling party anthem that embodies the rough and tough experience of living in the beach town hustle.

2018 found DENM attracting the attention of production songwriting team Rock Mafia, known for their work with Eminem, Diplo and Miley Cyrus to name just a few. After expressing his frustration over the pressure of writing songs to fit into the wants and needs of others rather than himself, the Rock Mafia team asked DENM the pivotal question: “What kind of music do you want to make?” DENM reflects: “That question shifted something in me. It gave me this spark of hope inside. That’s when everything in my life began to change.”

It’s amazing how examining the most basic aspects of what you want to do can be life changing. Addressing who you are and what you want to accomplish seems like such a simple question, yet when was the last time you asked it of yourself?
