First Listen: Iya Terra – Stars

I don’t know which way I’m gonna go
But I’ve gotta keep going

This is the internal compass of anyone and everyone who’s ever dared to pursue their passion. You cannot see the path until it’s behind you. You don’t know what’s coming but you know you must keep moving.

Iya Terra’s rise over the last few years has been absolutely astounding. I remember The Movement’s merch guy losing his mind when he saw them back in April 2016….”they’re gonna be the next big thing!” Fans were showing up in every city wearing Iya Terra shirts and hats, singing along, genuinely excited to see them and be part of it. Since then the band has made big moves, joining Ineffable Music Group and Paradigm Agency, building a strong team around them and continuing to churn out quality music that’s ready for the masses.

Back in March, on night 1 of Reggae Rise Up Florida, I arrived at Iya Terra’s afterparty to find hundreds of people lined up around the block. This was the first time I had ever seen Iya Terra headlining to a sold out crowd of their own and the energy in the room was through the roof.

Their new single “Stars,” out tomorrow, drops just in time for the largest tour of their careers, supporting legends Steel Pulse, Ziggy Marley, Tribal Seeds, and The Green on select dates all over the country. Their music and message is truly beginning to break through…

Let it be peaceful, let it be meaningful
Create something beautiful, powerful,
Magical, something I can live for,
What are ya waiting for?
Go and let your light shine.

This is one of the hottest up and coming American reggae acts and it’s only a matter of time before they’re headlining massive tours of their own. Pre-order “Stars” today, rate and review it, share it with everyone you know, and be in the front row to watch them climb.

This is incredible.
